Programs
Adult Individual and Group Counselling:
The largest aspect of our program is the adult outpatient services. These include, group and individual counselling, as well as assessment and referral to appropriate resources. Anyone can self refer to these programs and there is no cost. There is also no time limit to these services.
Groups:
We currently offer 12 groups per week designed to meet the needs of people and families in the recovery process. Clients are guided in selecting groups that meet their individual needs. Every weekday afternoon at 3:00 pm we have a drop-in group for anyone wanting support or education regarding substance abuse or addiction. Last year we facilitated 698 groups and increased service to the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows residents by 390%. Come see what we have to offer.
Youth Services:
- We provide in-office and outreach services to youth that are high risk for developing substance abuse problems. In addition there is a day program for youth who have been suspended from school because of drug or alcohol issues. Youth can self-refer or be referred by parents or outside agencies.
- We also have prevention workers in the school system who provides prevention programming, brief counselling, community education and policy development.
